Wheat and flour registration notice
A printed municipal notice from the City Magistrate of Novi Sad, headed Poziv, orders anyone holding wheat or flour, whether cooperative, mill, or private and public store, to register the quantity held within five days, giving name, address, and household size. A red rubber stamp overlaps one paragraph of the text, and the notice is signed at the bottom by Dr. Miloš Petrović as president of the municipality. The sheet lies on top of a stack of similar printed papers, and the letterhead itself carries a September 1940 date.

НОВИ САД / ПОЗИВ НА ПРИЈАВУ ЗАЛИХЕ ПШЕНИЦЕ И БРАШНА / Позивају се све задруге, млинови, приватна и јавна складишта, трговци и сви други држаоци пшенице и пшеничног брашна, да у року од 5 (пет) дана поднесу пријаве која ће садржавати: а) име и презиме подносиоца пријаве, занимање и адресу; б) Количину стварне залихе пшенице и пшеничног брашна која се налази у његовој државини ма по ком основу; в) Број чланова домаћинства подносиоца пријаве, и г) Потпис подносиоца пријаве и датум. / Обавеза пријаве не важи за земљорадникe-произвођаче. / Ко не поднесе пријаву на време или поднесе нетачне податке биће строго кажњен. / Др. City Magistracy, Novi Sad, 2 September 1940. Summons to declare stocks of wheat and flour. All cooperatives, mills, private and public warehouses, traders and all other holders of wheat and wheat flour are required to file a declaration within five days giving: the declarant's name, occupation and address; the actual quantity of wheat and wheat flour in their possession on whatever footing; the number of members of the declarant's household; and the declarant's signature and the date. The obligation does not apply to farmers producing their own. Anyone failing to declare in time, or declaring inaccurately, will be severely punished. Dr Miloš Petrović, in his own hand, mayor.
