Fifteen-para war invalids stamp, Kingdom SHS, 1921
The 15 para of the 1921 charity set for the war invalids, with 15 para more for their fund: a wounded soldier kneels, leaning on his rifle. Tekniska museet connects the picture with the Serbian army's retreat of 1915, when it crossed the mountains of Albania to the Adriatic. The kingdom's name runs above in Cyrillic and below in Latin, over ЗА ИНВАЛИДЕ and ZA INVALIDE, and like the rest of the set it was printed in New York by the American Bank Note Company.
