A card of four panels captioned in Cyrillic for the park at Kamenica. One shows a villa of two storeys among tall trees, another a gravel walk running between stone gate piers, the third a long low building with a deep veranda, and the fourth a ruined Gothic arcade standing open in the grass with figures carved on its piers. The panels are hand-coloured.
About this place
A settlement on the Fruska Gora side of the Danube, upstream of Petrovaradin and now part of Novi Sad. Cards sell it as Luftkurort Kamenitz, an air resort, and it was reached from the town by steamer. The imperial and royal infantry cadet school stood here, and the Serbian Orthodox church appears on cards captioned Kamenica in Serbian, Kamanc in Hungarian and Kamenitz in German.
