Two-dinar stamp with King Peter I, 1921
The 2 dinar of the 1921 definitive issue of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, with the portrait of King Peter I in uniform and the value given as 2 Д and 2 D, in both alphabets. Peter had been King of Serbia since 1903 and became king of the new state on 1 December 1918. He died on 16 August 1921, months after the issue went on sale. Like the para values, it was printed in New York by the American Bank Note Company, whose imprint runs under the frame.
