Ten-kreuzer coin note of the Vienna mint, 1849
A Münzschein, a note standing in for coin, for ten kreuzer, issued by the imperial and royal main mint in Vienna on 1 July 1849. In the revolutionary years silver change vanished from circulation, and the text promises that after three months and a public notice the mint and the provincial revenue offices will pay out a six-kreuzer piece in silver change and four kreuzer for it, and that public offices will take it as cash meanwhile. The double-headed eagle stands at the centre, and the numeral 10 in the four corners.
