Reverse of the two-forint Kossuth note, 1848
The reverse of the two-forint note, printed inside a green border, carries the same five-language warning as the one-forint note: eight years in prison for anyone who forged or imitated it. The sheet has been folded in four and the Hungarian lines are worn at the creases, the marks of a note that passed through hands.
