Flood outside the inn
1900–1930
The inn is signed in two languages doing two different jobs, the German word for its trade above and the Serbian keeper's name in Cyrillic below, which is how a bilingual town lettered a business. Floodwater stands the full width of the street, reaching the doorsteps of a single-storey range where people have gathered.
