Five-kreuzer stamp of Hungary, engraved printing, 1871
The 5 kreuzer of the 1871 portrait design in its engraved printing, which followed the lithographed one from late June 1871 and renders Franz Joseph's head in finer lines. Five kreuzer paid an ordinary inland letter. It was the stamp of Újvidék and Pétervárad until a numeral design took over the low values on 1 October 1874. This copy was cancelled at Ács, a village in Komárom county.
