Tables and stacking chairs stand on a terrace under trees with some thirty people sitting at them, a rustic railing of peeled logs along the front and a timber footbridge crossing a stream at the left. A building with a veranda stands at the right and willows and a wooded slope rise behind.
About this place
A wooded valley on the northern slope of Fruška Gora above Sremski Karlovci, long a place of excursion. The poet Branko Radičević is buried on the height above it, beneath an obelisk inside iron railings, and the spot draws its name from him in common speech. A forester's house and later a terrace restaurant stood in the valley bottom by the stream. It lies outside the ground this archive otherwise covers, about ten kilometres east of Petrovaradin, and is held here because the owner asked for it. The pin is the OpenStreetMap locality.
