The Workers' Chamber Building, a Statue by the Entrance
A brick tower with vertical banding and a round window rises above the entrance of the Workers Chamber building, a statue standing beside its glass-fronted ground floor. Young trees newly planted along the pavement have not yet grown tall, and a few pedestrians pass on the corner. The caption reads only Újvidék, Munkás kamara.
About this place
A modernist block on the new boulevard, captioned Munkasotthon on Hungarian cards of the occupation and as the palace of the workers' chamber on an earlier Yugoslav one. It stands in a row with the house of national health and the Croatia palace along the same boulevard.
