A tall modernist block stands above the river bank, its stair tower rising in banded courses beside a plain rendered front with a round window high on the gable. Lower ranges step down to the left and right. Behind it the lattice spans of the road bridge cross the Danube at the left, with a barge at the quay, and the wooded ridge of Petrovaradin with its fortress closes the view at the right.
About this place
A modernist block on the new boulevard, captioned Munkasotthon on Hungarian cards of the occupation and as the palace of the workers' chamber on an earlier Yugoslav one. It stands in a row with the house of national health and the Croatia palace along the same boulevard.
