Fifty-gulden note of the Vienna City Bank, 1806
Fifty gulden of 1 June 1806, framed by side borders lettered with the year, the month “JUNIUS” and the words “STADT WIEN BANCO ZETTEL”. Under the promise that it will be taken as cash in all dues, the double-headed eagle with the arms of Vienna on its breast stands between the value in Hungarian and Czech on one side and in Polish and Italian on the other, and a second 50 rises on a pedestal above the date MDCCCVI.
