Reverse of the twenty-five-gulden Banco-Zettel, 1806
The reverse of the 1806 twenty-five-gulden note spells the value out five times, from “Fünf u. zwanzig Gulden” to “Venti cinque fiorini”, and closes with “W. Stadt-Banko-Zettel” in a panel at the foot. The embossed panels and the lettering of the face show through the paper, and a small tear has opened at the top edge.
