Postcard captioned K. K. Militaer-Kaserne, looking down over the barracks ranges and the gardens below. A handwritten French message to an ill sister covers the picture side, dated Ujvidek, 19 January 1906.
About this place
The infantry barracks of Novi Sad. The Habsburg-era card names it K. K. Infanterie-Kaserne; under the Kingdom it carried the name of King Peter I. Both of the archive’s views show the long three-storey ranges rising over the low roofs of the town.
