Hungarian side of the thousand-kronen note, 1902
The Hungarian side of the 1902 thousand-kronen note, “EZER KORONA”, with the same young woman and the arms of the Kingdom of Hungary held by two angels at the top. Its text is the bank's promise in Hungarian, to pay at once at its head offices in Vienna and Budapest in lawful metal coin, dated “Bécs, 1902. január 2-án”. The bank's larger notes carried one side in German and one in Hungarian, the two languages of the dual monarchy.
