Next to the car in King Alexander Street

The shopfront behind carries a trading name in Latin script that would read the same in any of the town's languages, with a Serbian name in Cyrillic above it cut off by the edge, so the shop signed itself twice over. A young man in shirtsleeves and braces is posed against the front wing of a black saloon, its plate carrying a registration with the year stamped small above it.
