Captioned twice, Касарна Краља Петра I. in Cyrillic and Kasarna Kralja Petra I. in Latin with no Hungarian, the two-script Kingdom format. The block stands behind a wall of brick piers and railings on an otherwise empty corner.
About this place
The infantry barracks of Novi Sad. The Habsburg-era card names it K. K. Infanterie-Kaserne; under the Kingdom it carried the name of King Peter I. Both of the archive’s views show the long three-storey ranges rising over the low roofs of the town.
On the card
НОВИ САД КАСАРНА КРАЉА ПЕТРА I. / NOVI SAD KASARNA KRALJA PETRA I.
