Hundred-gulden note of the Vienna City Bank, 1762
The highest value of the first issue, one hundred gulden, printed in red inside an olive border, with “Hundert Gulden” and “100 fl. Rh.” at its head in the same olive. Like the lower values it is dated 1 July 1762 and binds the treasuries of the Hungarian, Bohemian and Austrian lands to take it. The smallest note of the issue was worth five gulden, so everyday buying and selling, in Neusatz as elsewhere, went on in coin.
