Main street and the school
1900–1918
The caption is Hungarian with the older cz spelling, which places the card before 1918, and it names the school by its type, a civic and commercial one, rather than by any name of its own. The stationer's shop on the corner is lettered in Hungarian too, so both the caption and the trade on the street ran in the same language. Schoolboys stand at the kerb outside.
