Loading outside the bookshop
1935–1955
The fascias are all in Cyrillic alone, with no second script, giving a footwear shop and a bookshop, and a smaller board beside the door gives that bookshop to the Serbian literary society, so the trade on the pavement belonged to a learned institution. Workmen load bales and parcels from the pavement onto a flat-nosed lorry.
