Created 1912. The full studio print with its white border, showing both sitters to the waist. Mileva Marić is on the left in a lace collar with a brooch, Albert Einstein on the right. A pencilled note is written in the bottom right corner.
About this place
The house at Kisačka 20, the Novi Sad home of the Marić family and of Mileva Marić, the physicist who studied at the Zurich Polytechnic and married Albert Einstein. A memorial plate to the two of them stands a few doors away. The photographs gathered here are of the couple and their family rather than of the building; they are filed to this address because it is the place in Novi Sad that belongs to them.
