# Main Square and the Church of the Name of Mary

The bilingual caption, Fotér a rom. kath. templommal, Main Square with the Roman Catholic church, uses the city's Hungarian name and spelling, consistent with the Hungarian administration reinstated after the 1941 occupation of the city. A tram curves along the tracks in the foreground as the street opens toward the church spire, with a row of grander buildings, one of them domed, lining the square to the left.
