# A train at the Novi Sad Danube harbour

A rare colour photograph, its dyes faded and the emulsion scratched with age. Railway rolling stock stands at the far left behind the trees, beside the riverside quay. A floating landing station is moored just offshore with a flag above it, a powered river vessel is out in the channel, and barges lie moored further to the right. The railway matters for placing the scene: the old Novi Sad station at Liman had a freight section facing the Danube, with industrial sidings running from it to the river landing on the ground of today's Kej žrtava racije.
