# Kossuth Lajos Street after the arrival of the tram

A hand-coloured card of Kossuth Lajos utca, today Zmaj Jovina, with tram rails curving down the middle of the street and a lattice mast carrying the overhead wire at the right. The tram opened in September 1911, so the view is after that. Crowds walk in the roadway, and the white gabled building at the left carries the sign of the Moskovits anatomical shoe factory, lettered in Hungarian with a Serbian line in Cyrillic beneath it. The printer laid an orange sunset across the sky.
