# Petrovaradin Fortress beyond the Broken Railway Bridge, a Second Copy

Another copy of the same view: the last standing span of the railway bridge on the left, its bare piers crossing the Danube toward the Petrovaradin fortress, and the long barracks on the hilltop above the riverbank houses. The bridge was blown up in April 1941, and the Hungarian caption, Ujvidék, Pétervárad, belongs to the occupation that followed.
