# Reverse of the five-gulden state note, 1866

The back of the 1866 five-gulden state note is printed in brown: the double-headed eagle with sword and orb, ringed by the crowned arms of the crown lands, Hungary's double cross and Bohemia's lion among them. Ribbons between the shields carry the value in the empire's languages, from “Öt forint” and “Pět zlatých” to “Cinci florini”, with Serbian and Ruthenian lines in Cyrillic. Two paper hinges at the top edge come from an old mount.
