# An Electric Tram Passes the Epiphany Cross on Novi Sad's Main Street

The Epiphany Cross stands at left on its pedestal, inside the iron railing with a lamp at each corner, out in the roadway where Zmaj Jovina crosses Svetozara Miletića. A tram with a single trolley pole runs down the centre of the street past women in long skirts and wide hats, with awnings out over the shopfronts on both sides. The cross was moved to the front of the Bishop's Palace in 1910 to clear the ground for the tram tracks, so this is among the last views of it in its original position.
