# The Park Hotel baths, Liberation Square and the Memorial Hall

Three views on one card: the Park Hotel and its baths building, ornate with a corner turret; Liberation Square, a modern high-rise over a tram junction with the Matica Srpska building's sign legible among the shopfronts; and the Memorial Hall, lettered in Cyrillic Kralju Ujedinitelju, to the King Unifier, honouring Alexander I. All three captions are Serbian, Novi Sad and Trg Oslobodjenja rather than Ujvidek, though the card is dated 25 May 1941, weeks into the Hungarian occupation.
