# Buses in the snow at the Fish Market terminal

An elevated view across the suburban bus terminal on a winter afternoon, snow lying on the roofs and along the verges and the yard churned to slush. Single deck coaches stand nose in under two long platform canopies with more drawn up in ranks along the roadway, a kiosk sits at the head of the platforms and a few passengers cross the open ground between them. Behind the terminal rise the apse and bell tower of the Cathedral Church of Saint George, and the long classical front to the right is the Gymnasium in Zlatne grede. The terminal served the suburban routes out of Novi Sad and stood on the Fish Market square, Riblja pijaca, on what is now Trg Republike.
