# The Roman Catholic Church From Above, Captioned Cathedral, 1941

The view looks down the avenue from a high vantage, the spire filling the middle distance and the street running straight toward the horizon. A balconied modern apartment block closes the right edge of the frame, and buses stand in the open square at the tower's foot. The caption names the building a Szekesegyhaz, cathedral, rather than the plain templom used elsewhere. The card is dated September 1941, in the early months of the Hungarian occupation of the city.
