# The Town Hall by moonlight

A night scene, the tower's clock face lit and a full moon breaking through cloud behind it, carriages waiting at the kerb below lit windows. Cards of this moonlit kind were typically made by tinting a daytime photograph rather than shooting after dark. Ujvidék is written by hand across the sky in blue ink. Dated 27 December 1914.
