# Novi Sad: the Cathedral and Banovina Palace, for a Tobacco Outlet

Five photographs of Ujvidek mounted at angles like loose snapshots. They show a curved corner building beneath a church spire, the Cathedral of the Name of Mary seen from above looking down its street with tram tracks, a close view of the Banovina Palace's colonnade, a high view of City Hall and its column with trams passing, and a riverside view toward the Petrovaradin Fortress. The card was issued for the Hungarian royal tobacco wholesale outlet in the city, a state concession, and the finished Banovina Palace rules out the pre-1918 period, together pointing to the city's wartime Hungarian administration.
