# One-forint state note of 1882, Hungarian side

The Hungarian side of the same state note, “EGY FORINT”, with the portrait of Franz Joseph repeated at its head. The Hungarian text makes the same promise as the German, that the note is part of the common floating debt of the monarchy and is taken for one forint of Austrian currency, and it is dated in the kingdom's own language, “Bécsben 1882”, Vienna, 1882. The series and number are printed in red, and two paper hinges at the top edge come from an old mount.
