# Gothic Spire and the Hotel Rex Awning Over a Crowded Pavement, 1943

A slender Gothic spire rises at the left, and on the right HOTEL REX runs in vertical lettering down the corner of a modern building, REX repeated in script at the awning line. A crowded pavement of pedestrians and parked cars fills the street between them. Dated 1943.
