# French side of the one-dinar state note, 1919

The reverse of the 1919 one-dinar note, worded in French for the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, with UN DINAR in a lacework oval between two tall figures 1. The French text points to its printing in France: on 1 February 1919 the government ordered 3.5 billion dinars in new notes from Paris. The design follows the Serbian five-dinar note of 1916 and 1917, which also carries a French reverse.
