# A tram passing the Serbian bishop's palace

The bishop's palace stands across the open ground with its central tower and steep roof, a monument before it and low buildings running away on either side. A tram comes down the street in the foreground carrying a destination board, with overhead wires above it and an ornate lamp standard beside the track. The block at the left carries shop lettering in Hungarian and in Cyrillic, including AMERIKAI NAGYBAZAR. The card is hand-coloured and captioned in Hungarian and German, which places it before 1918, while the tram places it at 1911 or later.
