# A Woman and Child Feeding Pigeons on Liberty Square, Small Cars at the Kerb

A woman in a skirt suit holds a small child in white by the hand while pigeons scatter and settle across the paving around them. Boxy saloons are parked in a row along the kerb behind her, a small rear-engined car stands nearer the middle of the square, and a man strides past with more birds lifting around him. The block across the square opens its ground floor as an arcade of round-arched shopfronts with a lettered fascia over the corner, and a plainer post-war building shows through the gap where a street leaves the square.
