# Soldiers Assembled Before the Banovina Palace, Novi Sad, 1941

The Banovina Palace's long facade recedes into the distance behind a row of young trees, seen partly through the bars of a fence in the foreground. Soldiers stand in ranks along the sidewalk to the right while a lone officer faces the entrance, its portico hung with bunting. The donor's caption again places this on Horthy Miklos Boulevard, today Bulevar Mihajla Pupina.
