# The town iodine bath at Novi Sad

A sepia postcard of the town's iodine bath, a two storey building in a heavy eclectic manner with a bulbous cupola on a lantern over its central bay and a second, smaller cupola beside it. A columned porch reached by steps marks the entrance, the ground floor is rusticated and oval windows sit in the gables. In front lies a lawn set with clipped conical shrubs and young bare trees, so the view was taken in winter or early spring. The caption is printed in Cyrillic and Latin with the Serbian form first, which places the printing after 1918, and a greeting written in Hungarian in ink runs across the sky.
