# A tram on the reserved track under the trees

A single tram motor car comes down a single line of grass grown track laid on its own ground beside a road, framed by an avenue of mature trees in full leaf. The car is a short two axle vehicle with a clerestory free roof, a pantograph raised to the single overhead wire, a route disc mounted at the front and a destination board above the windscreen. The driver stands at the controls behind the glass. Wooden traction poles carrying bracket arms run away to the left along the verge, and at the right a clipped hedge and a low white wall separate the track from a lawn.
