# Liberation Square, Restamped with Its Hungarian Occupation Name

A photographic postcard of Liberation Square shows the town hall's clock tower rising behind a Baroque plague column, with a Schicht soap advertisement mounted on the square and tram rails running past pedestrians and horse carts. The original caption, printed in Serbian Cyrillic and Latin script, names the square Trg Oslobodjenja. A later purple stamp reading Ujvidek, Neusatz has been applied directly over that printed caption.
