# The Banovina Palace on Horthy Miklós Boulevard, Novi Sad, 1942

A tall fluted tower rises above the modernist Banovina building, its ribbed stone piers framing rows of windows along the wide boulevard in front. Cars of the period are parked at the curb and pedestrians walk along the tree lined pavement. The source names the street as Horthy Miklos sugarut, known before and after the war as Bulevar Mihajla Pupina, and dates the photograph to 1942.
