# Habag building

The modernist block runs the length of the square with a stair tower breaking its roofline and a continuous shop arcade at pavement level, and lettering survives on the mezzanine band but is too coarse in this printing to read. A classicist portico with a flagstaff and a flag flying stands at the corner of the square beside it. The caption is scratched into the negative in white in both Cyrillic and Latin, with the town name run together as a single word in each and no Hungarian or German version, so this is a Serbian card of the Kingdom period.
