# City Beach on the Danube

A crowded river beach spreads along the near bank, where a roped-off swimming area is marked by a line of floating buoys and a wooden diving platform stands on pontoons at the water's edge. Dozens of small figures wade in the shallows and stand along a floating walkway, while rowboats lie beached in rows along the shore and a paddle steamer sits moored in the channel beyond. Hills rise on the far bank in the distance, and the whole print carries a warm sepia tone.
