# A tram before the furniture house

A tramcar stands on the rails in the middle of the street with a crowd around it, boys and a bicycle in the foreground and children in white among the people further back. At the right the elaborate Secession front of the Menrath Palace carries MÖBEL HAUS lettered across its top storey, above deep awnings over the shops, and a domed tower rises over the buildings at the left. The street is unpaved between the rails. The electric tram puts the picture in 1911 or later.
