# Kossuth Lajos Street from Franz Joseph Square

A trilingual card of Kossuth Lajos utca, today Zmaj Jovina, looking east from Franz Joseph Square, today Liberty Square. The corner building at the left carries two fascias, RECÉNYI ISTVÁN above and SCHATTELES NÁNDOR below, with a WALTHAM watch poster beside the door, and the Church of the Name of Mary stands immediately left of it. Awnings and market goods run down the pavement, the square opens across the empty roadway at the right, and an ornate building with a small turret closes the far end of the street. There are no rails in the road, so the view is before the tram opened in 1911.
