# Fifty-para stamp of the Kingdom SHS, Ljubljana issue, 1920

The 50 para of the issue printed in Ljubljana for the new Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, in the kingdom's para and dinar currency, from June 1920. The designs are by the painter Ivan Vavpotič; this value shows a young woman in folk dress with birds on her shoulders, and the foot reads КРАЉЕВСТВО СХС above KRALJEVSTVO SHS, the kingdom's name in both alphabets. Collectors call the whole series the chain-breakers, after the figure on its lowest values. It is the one provincial issue of 1919 and 1920 known to have been used in Vojvodina, Srem included, and it stayed valid until the spring of 1921.
