# Petrovaradin Fortress Framed by the Wrecked Bridge, 1942

Petrovaradin Fortress and its clock tower rise across the Danube, framed through the twisted girders and ornate ironwork railing of the collapsed road bridge deck in the foreground. The source dates the photograph to 1942 and identifies the ruin as the Most kraljevica Tomislava, the King Tomislav Bridge.
