# Franz Joseph Square, Novi Sad, with the Holy Trinity Column

A Baroque Holy Trinity plague column rises in the square in front of grand town houses, one bearing a sign ending GUSZTAV. Horse carts, pedestrians and an early motor car share the cobblestones. The postcards Hungarian caption names the square for Franz Joseph, fixing it to the Austro-Hungarian period before the square was renamed.
