A fixed iron lattice bridge spans the full width of the frame, with a passenger steamer passing beneath it and the town visible low on the horizon beyond the water. A handwritten message in German fills the right margin. The heading reads Ujvidék látképe, Panorama Ujvidék, with the publisher's imprint, Verlag J. Singer, Hoffotograf, Ujvidék, down the left edge.
